It has been difficult for all of us during this time, however what has given us quite a lot of joy is seeing what our students are capable of producing in this remote learning context. Thank you again for your continued support.
Whole School Assembly on ZOOM Wednesday 25th August @ 2.30pm
It is with great excitement we have planned our first whole school assembly on ZOOM for next Wednesday at 2.30pm. The teachers will post on Teams the address on Wednesday. We look forward to coming together as whole school online. Fingers crossed the technology works!!!
Victorian PYP Network Teach- Meet
A number of staff attended the Victorian Network Teach meet. The focus of the teach meet was the Exhibition, however there were many practical teaching ideas from assessment to conferencing presented as well. Thank you to Catherine Hales, Diane Murphy, Marie Constantinou, Mat Smith, Brendan Lehman and Claudia Bellwood for attending and using this knowledge to make our Year Six Exhibition another opportunity to acknowledge the learning our students are doing together.
Science Week at McKinnon

It has been fantastic to see students attempt to develop their own experiments and use the scientific method to help explain the processes. Many great hypotheses, questions and conclusions were reached. Just as important, students have been provided wonderful feedback and support to each of the videos on the Team page. Well done!
Again, thank you to the laboratory assistance (parents, carers & older siblings) who supported behind the scenes. We will keep the Team running over the weekend and students can still post a video up until Monday 23rd August.
