2022 ENROLMENTS and DEPARTURES
Have you got a foundation child you still need to enrol? Great news we are ready to accept that enrolment now, please send to the office as soon as possible.
If you are planning on leaving Mckinnon Primary in 2022, it would be greatly appreciated if you could notify the school as soon as possible.
SUNSMART
A reminder that our SunSmart policy commenced at the beginning of September. Students are asked to wear their SunSmart hats for all outdoor activities. We will be enforcing our ‘NO HAT NO PLAY’ policy from the beginning of Term 4. Therefore children are asked to bring their hats (making sure they’re clearly named) each day next term.
World Teachers’ Day
Our teachers have been sensational over the last two years demonstrating leadership, innovation and learning. Today was an opportunity to say thank you and recognise them for the work they do. They have made a significant difference in the lives of our students ensuring the continuance of their education despite the complexities all have endured.
Shade Sail Grant Success
It is with great delight to share with the community our Shade Sail Grant has been successful and we will soon see shade sails being constructed over the spider web and four-square courts on the eastern site. This will provide much needed shade in that area of the school. Thanks to Jodie Geri for her work on the grant.
Welcome Rebecca Burt to the Administration Team
A warm McKinnon welcome to Rebecca Burt who has joined our Admin staff in the front office.
COVID Update
